After two weeks of time looking at my front cover of my music magazine, I decided that some changes that needed to be made because after time i soon realised the problems with my media product. Firstly I realised that my button feature which details in "20 new bands" was cut off by the edge of the cover which doe snot happen in real music magazines such as kerrang as the magazine has no object or text being cut off. (below is the example of a Kerrang music magazine). Furthermore I realised that the text i originally had was too big for the side of the page compared to other media texts so I made the text smaller whilst changing the "Bran Rock Revealed" text colour so it did not blend with the background.
I changed the original front cover from having no bar code to having one, there wasn't one before due to my error of missing out that feature, but i placed the bar code on the top left corner because of one reason. That reason was that it enhanced the uniqueness of the magazine and that it reflects the target audience because it shows the magazine is niche market rather than mainstream. As it reflects the target audience, more would purchase the magazine because the front cover showed them that the magazine represented them more.
