Below is my completed music magazine schedule after the completion of the initial music magazine and it details in the time it took to complete a task. From my preliminary school magazine task I was very disorganised and was not o time when it came to completing tasks on time so when it came to the music magazine I created the schedule and was determined not to get behind and always be on track no matter what. As you can see from the schedule, I was true to myself because every task was rather started and completed on the target date or started and completed earlier which was due to my experience from the preliminary task.

Music Magazine Evaluation Q2
How Does Your Media Product Represent Particular Social Groups?
My media product represents certain social groups in a variety of ways such as the main image on the front cover of my music magazine which is very quirky to say the least which is how my music magazine represents my target audience of indie/alternative rock fans. The main image is quirky and presented in the light of my target audience which represents the social groups I have targeted because any pop fan will look at my magazine and instantly know that the magazine is not for me but my target audience on the other hand will know it is for them because the image is so quirky and tailored in their interests. The niche music taste of my target audience is further represented with the stories I have highlighted on the left hand side of the front cover which details in two artists "WoodKid" and "Seb Smith" who are both indie/alternative rock artists and the target audience will know these which is why my music magazine represents the social group. The target audience's interests are certainly reflected in the magazine which is why I strongly believe that my music magazine represents their social group.
The social groups are represented even further in the double page spread of the magazine because the magazine details in the artist's experiences and why he went into the music industry and this is loved by the target audience. The reason why it is loved by the social groups within my target audience is because the pop stars such as Olly Murs have massive coverage eon their lives 24/7 so alternative/indie rock artists do not have much coverage. The magazines gives them this but the target audience usually has similar backgrounds so the artist "Bran Rock" is the reflection of the target audience. basically the artist is a representation of what the wants to be and partially is which is a complicated way in how my music magazine represents particular social groups.
